NIERON B400-B Rechargeable 16,000-Lumen Tactical Flashlight
Product description
Blazing output and selectable beams: The B400-B houses 16 high-power LEDs arranged to provide a focused long-throw spotlight and a wide flood ring. Use the dedicated top and bottom switches to run the 3,450-lumen spotlight (rated to about 880 meters throw), the 12,300-lumen flood array, or both at once for maximum area illumination. Multiple operating modes include High, Medium, Low, Eco, Strobe and SOS for versatile field use.
Long runtimes and quick recharge: Inside are three integrated 5,000 mAh rechargeable cells that yield exceptionally long endurance — up to approximately 210 hours in the lowest Eco setting. The lamp accepts USB-C fast charging (QC2.0 / PD2.0 compatible) and returns to full capacity in roughly four hours. It also doubles as a power bank to top up phones and devices, while a battery-level indicator reports 100% / 50% / 20% / 5% states.
Rugged construction and thermal protection: Built from robust metal alloys and finished for outdoor durability, this unit meets IPX8 water submersion limits and survives one-meter drop tests. An internal temperature sensor plus extended cooling fins actively manage heat during prolonged high-output use to preserve LED life and safe handling.
Thoughtful controls and safety features: Ergonomically shaped with clearly labeled dual buttons, the B400-B supports quick press, long-press and combo actions — including a lock mode (press both buttons together) to prevent accidental activation in a bag. A rubberized charging port cover protects the connectors while preserving waterproofing.
Carry, mounts and dimensions: The kit includes a padded carrying case and an adjustable shoulder strap; the light body also accepts a detachable handle and can be mounted to standard tripods for hands-free work. Overall length is about 6.89 inches with a head diameter near 3.22 inches, and weight is roughly 31 oz (around 880 g), making it a substantial tool rather than a pocket torch.
Pros
- Extremely high combined lumen output and dual-beam flexibility
- Very long runtime with USB-C fast charging and power-bank function
- Rugged IPX8 body with active thermal management and lock mode
Cons
- Considerable size and weight — not pocketable
- Handle may interfere with case storage
- Internal batteries are integrated (non-user-replaceable)
VerdictA purpose-built, heavy-duty rechargeable torch offering a blinding combined output, dual independent beam control, and marathon runtimes. It excels for outdoor work, search tasks, and emergency preparedness thanks to fast charging, robust thermal management, and an intuitive dual-switch interface — though its bulk and weight put it beyond pocket carry.

Solid, versatile and impressively bright
Really sturdy construction and the housing feels heavy-duty compared to typical rechargeable lights. The waterproof build and solid grip make it reliable for camping, emergencies and vehicle storage. I appreciated having both a focused long-range beam and a wide-area flood light — switching between modes is quick and the outputs are genuinely powerful and useful in different scenarios.

Durable performer — some battery design limitations
Extremely tough and survives drops without issue. Lighter than it looks for its size and I compared it to other bike lights with photos. The newer version corrected many earlier quirks like lack of memory and smooth ramping, so mode switching is improved. My only gripe is the soldered-in battery pack — not user-replaceable.

More than a flashlight — a versatile tool
This is built to last and withstand the elements. It arrives with a good case and strap, and can be mounted to a tripod for hands-free use. The modes are straightforward (low/medium/high/eco) and it doubles as a power bank for phones. It’s large and heavy, but for those who need serious illumination this is a solid choice.

Huge, bright and feature-packed — case fit issue
The biggest and brightest in my collection, with useful power-bank functionality. It’s not pocket carry, but it’s perfect when you need extreme output. Comes with a quality case, though the handle prevents it from fitting inside unless removed. If you want a serious spotlight, this delivers.

Tank-like build and blinding output
Feels extremely solid in-hand and every component is nicely finished. Rubberized buttons are tactile, and USB-C charging plus power-bank capability are dependable. A couple of ergonomic quirks — the handle can cover the controls when attached — but overall the rugged design and brightness more than compensate.

Regular Customer 4/5
Powerful unit with beefy build — storage could be improved
This beast of a flashlight delivers massive light and robust features, but it’s heavy to carry without the strap. Metal construction throughout feels rock-solid, and the included strap helps with transport. Dual beams go from modest to blinding; controls are intuitive (short press, long press, double/triple clicks) and the handy modes include strobe and SOS.

Well-made, heavy, and very bright
Build quality is excellent with a metal exterior and satisfying heft. Two switches control the flood and spotlight independently, each offering three brightness levels. USB-C charging works reliably and the battery-level LEDs are useful. The flood throws a broad circular beam and the spotlight projects distance well — overall a quality, no-frills performer.

Extremely bright with simple, reliable controls
Very powerful and straightforward to operate. The center spotlight and outer flood operate independently or together in any combination. Includes a durable case and strap, charges via USB-C, and can fast-charge a phone — overall extremely pleased, just wish the handle fit inside the case.
