Rescue Essentials EMT Rip-Away Lite Operator IFAK (Black)
Product description
Big capability packed into a small, lightweight individual first aid kit. The Rip-Away Lite is made on Rescue Essentials' compact IFAK Rip-Away pouch platform to prioritize rapid access and straightforward carry while offering enough supplies to address severe bleeding and airway issues.
The pouch design is focused on speed and versatility: a rip-away attachment lets the operator detach the kit quickly for transport or to hand off to others, supporting 'throw-and-go' or rapid-transfer scenarios. The contents are selected to meet Hartford Consensus guidance for bleeding control and immediate life-saving interventions.
Contents: 1 Hyfin Vent Compact Chest Seal (twin pack), 1 Combat Application Tourniquet (C-A-T) GEN 7, 1 Nasopharyngeal Airway (28fr), 2 NAR Compressed Gauze packs, 1 Olaes Modular Bandage (4"), 1 ARS Decompression Kit (14ga), 2 pairs nitrile gloves, 1 pair 7.5" tactical EMT shears, 1 Rescue Essentials logo patch and 1 bonus 2" x 2" Medic Cross patch.
Dimensions: 6.25" H x 4.5" W x 4.5" D
Weight: 1 lb 5 oz
Intended use: carry on a duty belt, in a pack, or inside a larger medical bag as a ready-to-go operator kit for trauma response. The layout emphasizes quick retrieval of the tourniquet, chest seals, compresses and airway adjunct so a responder can begin lifesaving measures immediately.

Everything you need on your belt
Holds all the essentials for an emergency. I wear it on my duty belt. It's a touch bigger than minimalist kits but actually contains the necessary items, and the gear is reputable brand medical equipment.

Room for a few extras
I asked before buying about extra space and was able to tuck in a heavy medical tape roll plus a couple of hemostatic packets. If I used a smaller tape roll I could fit even more. Quality of the items is excellent.

Compact but complete
Most compact serious trauma kit I've seen that still provides a full, serviceable set of tools.
