Trigger Finger Splints — Aluminum Thumb & Finger Support, 3-Pack
Product description
Materials and construction: Each splint combines a thin, flexible aluminum plate with a skin-friendly elastic sponge pad and an adjustable hook-and-loop strap. The aluminum contains perforations to improve airflow and reduce heat buildup during warm weather.
How it’s used: Slide the injured finger into the channel of the splint, contour the metal to the needed shape, then fasten with the Velcro strap to secure immobilization. The strap can be snugged for daytime protection and loosened for more comfort while resting or sleeping.
What’s included and sizing: This set contains three splints. The listed small size measures approximately 5.4 cm (2.1 inches) in length—select the length that best matches the finger being treated.
Comfort and adjustability: The sponge liner provides a softer contact surface while the malleable aluminum lets you tweak the curvature to avoid pressure points or to accommodate swelling. The breathable foam and punched metal help keep the finger from feeling overly warm.
Customer support and future options: Support is available for questions or issues. The manufacturer has indicated plans to offer individually sized sets in the near future for users needing dedicated sizes.
Pros
- Lightweight, moldable aluminum for a custom fit
- Soft, breathable foam pad for comfort
- Three splints included—easy to rotate and replace
Cons
- Hook-and-loop strap attracts lint and fabric fibers
- Thin metal can deform with heavy or prolonged use
- Foam liner may discolor or compress over time
VerdictA budget-friendly, lightweight solution for immobilizing digits during recovery. The thin aluminum shell and foam padding make these splints comfortable for daily wear and easy to reshape for a custom fit. Velcro holds well but can attract lint; durability varies with heavy, repeated use.

Stable and reliable for trigger finger
These helped stabilize my finger when I had trigger finger. I wore them to sleep and while traveling. They perform well for keeping the finger immobilized.

Fits my thumb perfectly
Great fit for my thumb — stabilizes the first joint and eases trigger thumb symptoms. Only gripe is the light-colored Velcro gets dirty quickly; I swapped it for darker ties.

Worked when clinic splint failed
After injuring the fingertip, the splint from the ortho kept slipping. This set was simple to tweak and held perfectly, and having three meant replacements when wet or dirty. Velcro tends to grab everything, so I eventually removed it, reshaped the metal and pulled out some foam to let the splint hold snugly without the strap.

Saved us after my kid's broken thumb
My 10-year-old broke his thumb and the single splint from the clinic wasn't enough. These were essential — we wrapped them around wrist and thumb for extra hold. Foam did discolor and some bent after heavy use, so we rotated multiple pieces while he played in pool and at parks. Very glad we could get extras online.

Low-profile thumb support I wanted
Exactly what I needed: a compact thumb splint without a wrist cuff. The single small Velcro strap keeps it simple and the metal shell provides solid protection while staying low-profile during recovery.

Disappointed — cheap feel
Very flimsy aluminum that bends too easily and thin cushioning that became uncomfortable. The Velcro attracts fabric and lint, leaving marks and pulling threads. I wished I'd invested in a sturdier option.

Good for mallet finger recovery
Arrived in blue and was comfortable enough to wear during the 12-week healing period. The aluminum is easy to bend so it didn't rub on the joint. I used tape over the edges for extra security; plastic braces from the doc felt less comfortable.
