Over-the-Sink Cutting Board — Adjustable Acacia Prep Board
Product description
Turn the empty span above your undervmount sink into usable workspace. The board is designed to slide over the sink lip and rest across the opening so you can chop vegetables, slice fruit, prepare meat and push scraps directly into the basin.
The package includes the hardwood board, a set of rubber-like adjustable pegs that insert into pre-drilled holes on the underside, and simple setup instructions. The peg system lets you customize the depth to match your sink opening and helps keep the board from shifting while you work.
Made from hand-finished tropical hardwood — available in acacia and mahogany — the surface is food-safe and simple to wipe clean. The finish gives it a polished appearance that many describe as kitchen furniture, so it can be left out on the counter when not in use.
Measure your sink front-to-back before ordering: the board is built to fit undermount sinks with openings between 14.5" and 16". It is not compatible with top-mount/drop-in or farmhouse-style sinks. The design encourages rinsing scraps directly into the sink, simplifying cleanup and reducing countertop mess.
Pros
- Saves counter space by using sink opening
- Adjustable pegs for a secure, customizable fit
- Attractive, food-safe hardwood finish
Cons
- Only fits undermount sinks 14.5"–16" front-to-back
- Not compatible with drop-in or farmhouse sinks
- Peg installation can be snug or require a trick to insert
VerdictA smart space-saving solution for small kitchens: this over-the-sink board converts wasted sink area into a stable prep surface. The adjustable peg system allows a snug fit for flat-rim undermount sinks 14.5" to 16" front-to-back and keeps the board steady during prep. Hand-finished tropical hardwood looks attractive left on the counter and is treated to be food-safe. It won’t work with top-mount,

Well thought-out design
Solid construction with pre-drilled holes and rubbery pegs to size the board to your sink. I appreciate that it stays put while I chop veggies or slice meat; the fit makes a noticeable difference.

My new go-to prep tool
This became the only board I reach for. I had other boards but none that sat over the sink (double-check your sink type). It looks great and feels rock-solid. I bought it thinking it might help — it ended up replacing my other boards.

Prep and cleanup at once — huge help
A real space-saver for my tiny apartment. No more clearing a counter spot before cooking — I lay this across the sink and start prepping. Makes weeknight meals easier and faster.

Doesn’t sit well on rounded sinks
Designed to rest on the sink rim, but the small bumper pegs don’t hold on sinks with a rounded edge. Also feels a bit narrow for some tasks. I expected it to be firmer in place.

Made me oddly proud
This small gadget boosted my kitchen confidence. Didn’t expect to feel so satisfied with a cutting board, but it’s fun to use.

Handy tip for inserting pegs
Beautiful, well-oiled board with clear instructions. The pegs were stubborn at first; I chilled them briefly and they slid into the holes easily. Excellent finish and professional feel.
