Ergonomic Height-Adjustable Footrest Platform — Steel Comfort Stool
Product description
What’s included: the height-adjustable foot platform, all mounting hardware, and simple assembly instructions for quick setup.
Materials and size: the platform measures about 9.8 inches by 15.7 inches and is built on a steel frame. The standing range for foot support spans roughly 5 inches up to 10-1/4 inches. The top has a textured fabric or coated surface for grip, and the underside has padding to reduce sliding on hard floors.
How it helps: use it as a foot rest while standing at a sit-stand desk to shift weight, relieve lower-back tension, and decrease leg fatigue. It also works under a seated desk to encourage better posture by elevating your feet slightly.
Adjustment: multiple indexed height positions allow quick, tool-free changes so you can fine-tune the angle and elevation that feels best for you.
Stability and care: the metal frame is rated to hold up to 55 pounds of static load (do not stand on it). The textured top prevents slipping, and the foot pads help keep the whole unit from wandering on smooth surfaces. Wipe clean as needed.
Pros
- Solid steel construction
- Wide height range for sit or stand use
- Textured surface and non-slip base
Cons
- Not designed to stand on
- Bottom pads may need upgrade on some floors
- Fabric top can show marks over time
VerdictA reliable, no-fuss foot platform for sit-stand workspaces. The metal frame feels durable and the textured surface gives good traction for bare feet or socks. Multiple height settings let you find a supportive angle whether standing or seated. It’s not intended to be stood on, but as a foot prop it eases pressure on the lower back and legs during long days. Simple assembly and a compact footprint

High, angled and very useful
Better than other footrests I’ve tried — it reaches surprisingly high and the platform is angled in a comfortable way. The open base lets chair wheels come close. Mine sits on carpet and hasn’t shifted much. One star off because product info said it was flat but it arrived angled.

Sturdy and saves me money
Love this — I’m 5'1" and this simple platform solved my need instead of buying a new chair. Very sturdy and does the job well.

A must-have for sit-stand desks
This foot platform has been a terrific addition to my home setup. I prop a foot while standing and it noticeably eases lower-back and leg tightness. The height clicks into several positions up to about 10 inches, and the metal frame is very sturdy — no wobble like foam models. The top gives good purchase and the rubberized pads keep it steady on smooth flooring. Setup required almost no time and it’s easy to move where I need it.

Solid and stable — bought another
Very stable and simple to set. I liked it enough that I ordered an extra so I could keep my legs wider apart when needed.

Large surface and adjustable — does the job
Plenty of room for both feet and several height options. Works exactly as advertised and has held up well.

Should’ve bought sooner
I keep this under my office desk and it fixed my posture issues. Without it I tended to scoot forward and developed lower back pain; after a month the pain disappeared. It can slide on some floors and clicks a bit if you kick it, but the comfort gains outweigh those minor annoyances.

Comfortable and functional for long standing sessions
A great option if you stand a lot. The adjustable heights let different people use it comfortably, and the platform is spacious enough for both feet. The textured surface prevents slips and the slight pitch encourages a more ergonomic stance, reducing pressure on the lower back. Solid build and easy to change between heights.

Perfect for my sit/stand desk
I use it while seated because my wheeled desk and chair alter the normal height, and most footrests don’t reach high enough. This one has higher settings and several easy-to-change levels. Metal construction means no rocking and it wipes clean easily. Highly recommended for my setup.

Works well with my desk mount setup
Pros: compact to carry, simple height changes, easy to clean, and surprisingly durable. Cons: if you load weight only on one edge it can tilt a bit and it’s awkward to slide while seated. Grandkids have stepped on it and it cleaned up fine. Fabric around the edge could be tricky with pets, but overall I’d buy it again.

Decent but feels a bit flimsy
Assembly was easy, but the platform flexed more than I expected when I first used it. It seems a touch lightweight compared with a heavier model I had at work. I’ll keep using it and hope it holds up.

Good overall but bottom grips need improvement
I like the adjustable design and it serves my purpose, but the small anti-slip pads on the bottom weren’t durable — a couple came off within two weeks. I bought larger grips to fix the problem. Still a worthwhile purchase if you don’t mind swapping the pads.
