Heavy-Duty Motorcycle Chain Lock with Hardened U-Lock (12mm, 3.3 ft)
Product description
What’s included: one 3.3-foot (1 meter) hexagonal chain with 12mm links, one U-style padlock with a 16mm hardened shackle, a sliding dust cover on the lock, a durable protective sleeve for the chain, and four reversible brass-steel keys.
Chain construction: the links are hexagonal 12mm sections forged from a triple heat-treated boron-manganese alloy steel. The combination of heat treatment and alloying increases tensile strength and wear resistance while a narrower inner link profile reduces purchase for bolt cutters and leverage tools.
Padlock features: the U-lock uses a 16mm hardened MAX-performance steel shackle with a double-deadbolt engagement for two-sided locking. The lock body is reinforced and shrouded to resist prying and impact attacks. The cylinder is a stainless steel, disc-style design with layered protections against drilling, saws and pulling.
Design and use: a cinch-loop or circle link at one end allows the chain to be routed and tightened neatly around frames, wheels, or fixed objects such as posts, railings or anchors, increasing useful reach while keeping bulk manageable. The embroidered, weather-resistant sleeve shields painted surfaces from scratches and lets the chain be rolled compactly and secured with hook-and-loop fastener for transport.
Durability details: the shrouded lock shell and sliding dust cover keep grit and moisture away from the cylinder to help prolong service life. Four user-friendly reversible keys are supplied to simplify unlocking. For best longevity, avoid leaving the lock exposed to the elements unattended for extended periods.

Tolerant but not invincible outdoors
After about three years of outside use the cylinder froze and wouldn’t open. I eventually had to cut it with an angle grinder; the chain itself stayed intact but the lock succumbed to weather.

Strong chain, disappointing keys
After only a few uses a key snapped inside the U-lock and I had to hire a locksmith to cut it out. The chain was fine, but the key design is weaker than expected and replacement support was limited.

Visual and physical deterrent
The sheer presence of this lock discourages theft. It’s heavy but effective; I pair it with another lock and an alarm for maximum security. Not for those who mind extra weight.

Solid lock, great value
I use this on my electric bike for quick errands and it’s stopped more than one attempt. The chain feels heavy and durable, long enough for racks and poles, and small enough to stash in a pack.

Protected my bikes — attackers did damage
Thieves removed the bike rack rather than cut the chain; I suspect they damaged frames attempting entry. I repurchased because the set is high quality, though packaging could be stronger.

Excellent chain, bulky lock
The chain itself is impressive — very tough. The U-lock didn’t feel as robust, and carrying the whole set in a backpack is cumbersome. Considering a dedicated bag for touring.

Mostly reliable, lock can fail
Used to secure my dirt bike in an unlocked shed and it reduced my worry. The chain is solid, but after few uses the lock mechanism failed and the key became unusable; had to replace the lock.

Sturdy and flexible
The noose/cinch link is handy for threading through frame and both wheels. It’s heavy by design; carrying took experimentation. The fabric sleeve’s Velcro can come loose, but protection is good overall.

Peace of mind for e-bikes
Versatile way to secure an e-bike. I route it toward the front when I have a rear hub motor to avoid extra weight on the rear. It’s bulky but sturdy and keeps my battery and bike safer when parked.

Good deterrent for risky areas
In a high-theft neighborhood this hefty chain and U-lock keep my motorcycle where I left it. The sliding key cover helps prevent gumming from rain. Feels right for guarding expensive two-wheelers.
