Reflects 95% of radiant heat: This aluminum-coated fiberglass mat is engineered to redirect up to ninety-five percent of radiated thermal energy and tolerates surface temperatures up to 1,022°F (550°C). It protects painted finishes, plastic pieces, wiring looms, intake pipes, and other heat-sensitive parts in vehicles, motorcycles, kitchens, and utility areas.
Oversized panel for cutting to fit: The product ships as a 24" × 12" × 0.02" sheet that can be trimmed with scissors or a utility knife to match irregular shapes and larger coverage needs. Because it’s a mat rather than narrow tape, it’s convenient for lining panels, under-hood areas, or cabinet backs.
Nano adhesive strip included: A separate heat-resistant nano-tape is supplied to secure the shield to smooth, clean surfaces. That adhesive tolerates temperatures up to about 300°F (149°C) and adheres strongly to prepared substrates. Surface cleaning is required for best adhesion. Note: do not apply this adhesive to exhaust pipes or to areas that exceed its rated temperature.
Water- and oil-resistant surface: The smooth aluminum face sheds water and cooking oils for easier cleanup and reduced staining. The fiberglass core provides structural strength and thermal insulation while the reflective foil layer handles radiant heat.
Versatile protective uses: Ideal as a thermal barrier behind grills, stoves, fireplaces, refrigerator panels adjacent to heat sources, hood liners, firewall patches, underbody shields, and around intake or sensor housings. Use where radiant heat is the concern; avoid direct flame or continuous contact with exhaust manifolds.

Didn’t help in my setup
Applied near a stove and expected heat reduction; it didn’t prevent scorching and left discoloration after removal.
