SEPEAK 30kN Large Rescue Pulley with Swing Plate — Climbing & Zipline
Product description
High-efficiency bearing and easy rope access: The pulley uses a stainless steel ball bearing paired with a self-lubricating bushing to minimize sticking and keep rotation smooth under load. The side plates rotate 360°, and the swing plate pivots open so ropes can be installed or removed quickly without threading an end.
Sturdy, corrosion-resistant construction: Forged from an aluminum‑magnesium alloy for strength and oxidation resistance, the unit is designed for demanding use. Breaking strength is rated at 30kN (6750 lbs). The pulley measures 4.88 in x 3.26 in and weighs approximately 0.55 lb, making it easy to carry on a pack or harness.
Rope compatibility and rope care: This pulley accepts ropes up to Φ16 mm in diameter. Its design reduces torsional stress on rope fibres, helping to preserve rope life while handling substantial loads and providing smooth traction.
Versatile applications: Suitable for mountaineering, rock and ice climbing, crevasse rescue, confined-space work, aerial access, training, and more. It can also be adapted for recreational setups such as backyard ziplines or swing seats, expanding its usefulness beyond technical ropework.

Dependable on frequent rappels
Used on my life-safety rope through rough sections; it handles wear well and has been reliable during regular rappels.

Turns smoothly and loads quickly
This pulley turns without binding and the swing plate opens for fast rope installation anywhere on the line rather than needing an end. A standard carabiner fits the hanging eye for attachment or to lock it on the rope. I haven’t tested the full 30kN rating but will only load a few hundred pounds.
