Striped 3x5 Easy Jute Indoor/Outdoor Patio Rug — Washable, Geometric
Product description
Modern striped aesthetic: A geometric, intentionally faded stripe design in charcoal and natural hues creates a relaxed modern farmhouse look that pairs well with contemporary furnishings.
What you get and size: One 3 x 5 foot rug in the striped Easy Jute style. Though it mimics natural jute, the surface is a printed polyester fiber designed to deliver the jute look without the brittleness of real plant fiber.
Construction and materials: Made from durable polyester pile with a printed pattern on the face. The rug is not made of actual jute; polyester fibers resist cracking, shedding and fraying. The underside features a TPE backing that helps prevent slipping on most indoor/outdoor floors.
Color and packaging notes: The printed surface is charcoal black/grey rather than a true deep black. The rug ships rolled or folded in compact packaging, so initial creases are common — unroll it or place weights on flat areas for a day or two to smooth it out.
Where to use it: Low‑profile design makes it suitable for patios, porches, entryways, kitchens, hallways, bedrooms, RVs, decks and other indoor/outdoor spaces. The thin profile won’t obstruct doors and is comfortable for kids and pets when placed on a clean, dry floor.
Care instructions: Remove surface dirt with a hose, broom or vacuum regularly. For deeper cleaning, machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and air dry; hosing and spot cleaning work well too. A small handheld vacuum is recommended for best maintenance.
Pile and performance: Low pile, non‑shedding surface suited for high‑traffic locations. The sleek finish keeps dirt from embedding and allows easy cleaning while maintaining a natural jute appearance without the maintenance of true jute fibers.

Pretty and vacuum-friendly
Placed it by my door yesterday — looks lovely. Very thin so my robot vacuum can pass over it, and it should flatten out after some time before I tape it down.

Colors faded too fast
At first it looked great, but the sun faded the colors quickly when left in direct sunlight.

Not fully weatherproof for full sun
It began fine but areas exposed to sun bleached over the season. Works well in semi-covered spots, but not ideal for constant full-sun outdoor placement.

Good overall, pets caused snags
On its second season and has handled the weather well, but my dog's claws snagged the surface easily. Otherwise it's held up nicely.

Clean, modern runner
Fits my new kitchen perfectly — crisp look and easy to maintain. Quality seems solid so far.

Sturdy for an exterior doorstep
Perfect for the entry. No rubber backing but it stays put. Thick enough for outdoor use and the neutral tones match my seasonal plants — now I want a larger size for the deck.

Attractive, hides dirt, holds up well
Love the design and durability. I've had it inside my front door for months; it hides smudges, withstands repeated vacuuming, and naturally smoothed out from packing. Haven't needed to wash it yet.
