   Simple install, cats love it

   Cutting with a jigsaw was easy enough and it worked on a partially hollow door. Both cats enjoy their new secret entrance; it fits tightly and feels durable.

   So cute — easy install for pros

   My handyman charged $50 and had it done fast using the provided template. Took the door off, cut the hole, and screwed on the panels. My cat used it immediately and I can keep the laundry door closed now.

   Great for a cabinet hideaway

   Turned a shallow laundry cabinet into a litter closet. Door was thinner than normal so we added a trim strip and it blends well. Cat uses it and the box is tucked away.

   Fast install, looks great

   Removed the door, centered the template, cut with a jigsaw (plenty of margin), bolted the halves together and it took about 20 minutes. Both our cats adjusted immediately.

    Worth the money despite upfront doubts

    I worried about cost and read bad feedback about the stencil and tape, but I had none of those problems. My DIY jigsaw cut was clean, the panels fit snugly, and the adhesive has held without screws. The kit is three parts: front face, rear tail piece, and a flexible filler for hollow doors that hides the cut edges nicely.

    I hacked the hole with a jigsaw; not fun but doable in under 30 minutes. It lets my cat in while keeping the dogs out. The piece itself is fine; I recommend trimming the hole a touch smaller than the paper template suggests.
