Meow Manor Interior Cat Door — No‑Flap Passage for Cats up to 20 lbs
Product description
Patented privacy portal for indoor cats — designed to let felines have a dedicated area for feeding and toileting without leaving odors or traffic in the open room. The unit creates a small doorway that replaces a cutout in a standard interior door so humans can close the door while the cat still has access.
Kit contents and fit — each package includes the cat door assembly, a paper template for cutting, a set of sturdy mounting screws and step‑by‑step installation instructions. The design accommodates both solid and hollow core interior doors with thicknesses between 1.25" and 1.75".
Size and capacity — the opening measures about 9.25" tall by 9.0" wide, intended for cats and similarly sized pets up to roughly 20 pounds. If you need a larger clearance for heavier animals, a larger model is available separately.
Construction and operation — built from durable molded components with a clear viewing window element, the unit avoids a swinging flap so paws aren’t caught and noisy flaps are eliminated. There is a simple closure option to block the opening when you want the passage shut. Installation requires cutting a curved section from the door and fastening the assembly with the included screws; it works well when the bottom screws bite into the door’s wooden frame or solid wood core.
Pros

- Fits common interior door thicknesses (1.25"–1.75")
- Comes with template, hardware and clear instructions

- Top screw placement can be tricky on some hollow doors
VerdictThis no‑flap interior cat door gives pets a quiet, secure way to access a private space while letting owners fully close a room. It’s designed for easy DIY fitting in standard interior doors (1.25"–1.75" thick), arrives with hardware and directions, and is roomy enough for most cats up to 20 lbs. The solid construction and the option to fully close the opening make it a low‑stress alternative to s

Essential for multi‑pet homes
Simple to fit and performs exactly as described. A must‑have when you have both cats and dogs and need controlled access.

Nice design, very practical
Clean look and thoughtful features — the locking knob secures the opening and a bottom slider holds it open when needed. The regular size suits my small cat and keeps the larger dog out. Cutting the curved hole takes the right tools, but setup was manageable and my cat used it instantly.

Works great for my 16 lb cat
Attractive and pet friendly — my 16 lb shorthaired slipped through right away with no training. He ducks a bit but doesn’t mind. Installation was straightforward with a jigsaw, screwdriver and some sandpaper. I wanted to close my bedroom without trapping him, and this gives me that control. Operates silently and feels well made.

Lovely little door
This tiny door is delightfully detailed — it even has a faux window and a functioning little knob. The template made cutting straightforward; the hardest part was temporarily removing the main door to do the work. I adore it.

A bit bigger than expected
Nice and well made, but it turned out larger than I thought. My French bulldog managed to squeeze through and got into the litter area, so be aware it might admit determined small dogs.

Saved us a lot of hassle
We wish we had known about this sooner. With our bedroom layout and a litter box in the ensuite, shutting the door used to be a problem. This pass‑through solved that — our cat can come and go without us propping the main door open, and he checks in calmly rather than frantic scratching.

Installation tips — use the door itself as your guide
Some templates can be off, so I traced the unit directly and taped placement lines on the door. I raised the opening slightly to give long‑legged cats extra clearance as they age, and packed a small block inside a hollow door to anchor the bottom screws securely.

Adorable and effective
My cat wouldn’t use a flapping door, so this no‑flap design was ideal. It’s very cute and a 6 kg cat moves through it smoothly. I had a carpenter fit it and am very happy with the result.

My cats began using it right away and installation was very simple — highly recommended.

Fast delivery and solid build
I ordered two from overseas and they arrived quickly. Thoughtful engineering — the door‑open holder even has adhesive backing to help position it before screwing. We have several cats of different sizes and all but the enormous tom use it. Works well on hollow panel doors when the bottom screws hit the wooden frame.

Charming and surprisingly practical
I wanted a pass‑through to keep the litter box in a small laundry porch and be able to block access when bringing in groceries. I didn’t like flap doors, so this hole‑style door was perfect — if I need it closed I can easily obstruct the opening. The look is whimsical yet fully functional.
