Fender Champion II 25W Guitar Combo Amp — 8" Speaker & Built‑In FX
Product description
Includes one Fender Champion II 25 combo amplifier rated at 25 watts and built around an 8" Fender special-design guitar speaker. Cabinet dimensions measure approximately 16.4" deep x 14.1" wide x 10.1" high, making it small enough for bedroom use but capable enough for rehearsal and intimate performance.
The amp offers a built-in multi-effects suite: reverb, delay/echo (with TAP tempo for syncing delay and tremolo), chorus, tremolo, vibratone and other modeled effects so you can shape a wide range of tones without external pedals. Controls allow straightforward adjustment of tone and effect levels for immediate results.
Connectivity includes a 1/8" auxiliary input for backing tracks or external players, a headphone jack for silent practice, and a rear-panel USB port for direct recording or firmware/utility use. The Champion II is a single-channel design focused on ease of use and portability. Fender backs the amplifier with a two-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
Pros
- 8" Fender-designed speaker with classic tone
- Comprehensive onboard effects with TAP tempo
- Headphone, aux and USB connections for practice and recording
Cons
- Single-channel layout limits on-the-fly switching
- 8" speaker has less low-end presence than 12" models
- Basic manual offers limited setup guidance
VerdictA versatile small-format amp that delivers classic Fender-inspired tones, a useful collection of effects, and modern connectivity in a compact package. Ideal for new players and home practice, it also handles rehearsal work and small shows. If you need more low-end punch or channel switching, a larger model with a 12" speaker and extra channels will suit better, but this 25W model offers excellent

Excellent beginner amp
This 25-watt amp suits my needs perfectly. I switched from acoustic to electric and it pairs well with my Strat’s ceramic pickups. All knobs and effects work without noise or shorts.

Good for late-night practice
Plenty of clarity at low levels and it also cleans up nicely at higher volumes. The effects are musical and usable — a rare set of well-implemented multi-effects in a small amp.

Great sounds; consider the larger model
I love the tones and built-in effects here. If you want a fuller voice and more presence, a larger model with a 12" speaker and dual channels provides noticeably bigger sound.

Tons of effects; manual could be better
Good tonal range from the 8" speaker and many effects to explore. The printed instructions barely explain usage, so online videos help. I later upgraded the speaker for different voicings and addressed a minor grounding hum by changing the outlet setup.
