Clear Vinyl Roll — 20 Gauge, 54 in x 10 yd | Waterproof, UV & Cold-Resistant
Product description
Available gauges: This vinyl is offered in a wide range of thicknesses (from very thin to heavy-duty 4–80 gauge) so you can pick the stiffness and puncture resistance that match your project.
Construction and finish: The material is clear polyvinyl with a double-polished surface to minimize distortion and maximize see-through clarity. That polished treatment on both faces helps preserve brightness and reduces haze compared with unpolished sheet goods.
Weather performance: Formulated to withstand sun, rain and cold, the sheet resists UV yellowing and is designed to tolerate temperature swings without immediate cracking. It’s waterproof and built to hold up outdoors for enclosures and covers.
Packaging and handling: Shorter lengths may be folded for shipping while longer rolls are shipped rolled on tubes to avoid creases. Any fold lines relax with gentle heat or prolonged sunlight; mild warming tools or time will smooth most wrinkles.
Typical uses and installation: Supplied as a continuous roll (54 in × 10 yd for this listing), it’s commonly attached with staples, grommets, snap fasteners, strong adhesives or taped edges. It’s used for porch curtains, removable greenhouse panels, boat windows, patio barriers, and protective covers for furniture and tables.
Pros
- Very clear, double-polished finish
- Weatherproof with UV and cold resistance
- Available in many gauges for different uses
Cons
- May ship folded at shorter lengths
- Heavier gauges need stronger fastenings
- Wrinkles may require heat or sun to relax
VerdictA robust, crystal-clear vinyl sheet that balances flexibility with toughness. The double-polished finish delivers very good transparency while the UV and cold-crack resistance make it suitable for year-round outdoor use. Rolls ship folded or on tubes depending on length; easy to fasten with staples, grommets or tape for enclosures, removable greenhouse panels, or protective tabletop covers.

Excellent for screened-in porch
Installed around a porch and it has stayed clear for over a year in high-UV conditions. With the edges secured under trim it resists constant wind without yellowing or tearing.

Effective patio bottom enclosure
Used it to close off the lower part of my patio to keep rain out. I glued it in place with construction adhesive and it’s doing the job — a much cheaper fix than replacing the upper vinyl panels.

Protects tabletop while staying clear
I cover my teak table with this and the wood grain still shows beautifully. My earlier roll lasted years; this replacement looks just as good and very durable.

Dependable winter porch shield
Replaced seasonal screens with this vinyl and it handled thrown snow from a blower with no problem. Easy to cut, install and keep clean.

Solid material for boat window panels
Made a removable window for my boat using this vinyl plus grommets and zip ties. It held up well at speed and in wind — sturdy 20 gauge that replaced pricier premade options.

Makes a neat greenhouse panel
Cut and stapled into removable panels for a small under-porch greenhouse. The clarity looks like glass and snaps make it easy to remove in warmer weather.

Keeps weather outside the porch
The thicker mil is much tougher than my previous roll. I build framed panels with 1x2s and this vinyl bolts on to keep snow and rain off the porch while still letting light through.

Crystal clear and durable
Shows up as true clear vinyl on my door and coop panels. Well packaged; tissue keeps layers from sticking. I stapled it on and it’s remained flexible and crack-free in cold weather.
