7-Piece Lace Layer Border Die Set for Cardmaking & Scrapbooking
Product description
What you get: One sealed bag containing 7 metal cutting dies in a lace layer border design. The pack contains only the metal dies; paper samples and other props are not included.
Materials and look: The dies are manufactured from high-carbon steel with a silver finish. Each piece is designed to produce delicate, detailed lace-style borders.
Compatibility and use: These cutters are made to work with most major manual die-cutting machines. They are suitable for scrapbooking, handmade greeting cards, embossing accents, album pages, card stock crafts, tags, invitations, envelopes and a variety of paper DIY projects. For dies that arrive connected, separate the linked pieces before running them through your machine.
Practical notes: Because they are compact, some dies may need repeated passes or a lighter paper stock to cut completely through heavier card. They’re excellent for small stationery, gift tags, candle-box trim, and frames, but users who want full-length A2 edge strips may need to trim or repeat cuts.
Dimensions and tolerance: Typical conversion is 1 cm = 10 mm = 0.39 inch. Please allow a 1–3 mm variance due to manual measurement. Color may appear slightly different depending on lighting and monitor settings; please refer to the actual product for final color.
Care and longevity: With proper handling these high-carbon steel dies are sturdy and designed for long-term craft use. Keep them dry and store flat to maintain edge definition.

Did not work for me
Very disappointing — multiple passes and they still barely cut through my paper.

Nice edge details
Gives a nice finish to card edges and envelope flaps. I use them on greeting cards and like the look they add.

Cuts can be inconsistent
Doesn't cut cleanly through thick card and sometimes struggles with regular weights. With my Sizzix I couldn't get away with the lightest shim and had to use thinner stock. They look beautiful when they cut all the way through.

Small but useful
Yes, they are small — check the photos for measurements before buying. I’d welcome a larger version for full-size cards, but these have been handy for thank-you notes, gift tags, card holders and small boxes.
