Great for elderly transfers
Excellent for moving seniors between chairs and beds. My 80+ mom used it to go from bed to wheelchair and to the bathroom; it gave her more independence. Thick and easy to use.

Slides well but dents easily
The wood is soft enough that my wheelchair hardware leaves dents. It slides nicely when I wear clothing or pads, less so with just underwear.
