Wireless Caregiver Floor Mat Alarm with Pager — 24 x 48 Sensor
Product description
Built to reduce falls and wandering, this wireless floor-mat alarm sends an immediate alert to the included caregiver pager when weight is applied to the mat. Set up requires no wiring: simply place the cordless mat next to a bed, chair, or in front of an exit so it can detect when someone steps on it.
The system comes with a caregiver pager (model TL-2020P) and a 24 in x 48 in wireless floor mat (model PTFM-07C). The mat is constructed with a durable, pressure-sensitive sensor layer encased in a tough outer cover and a non-skid backing to keep it in place. The pager operates on two AA batteries (batteries not included) and displays both sound and vibration alert modes so patients are not startled in their room.
Wireless range extends to roughly 300 feet in open spaces, allowing caregivers to carry the pager or station it nearby while attending other tasks. Multiple floor mats and other compatible Smart Caregiver sensors can be monitored from a single pager, enabling broader coverage of doors, beds, and chairs when needed.
Caregivers can use the mat at night by a bedside to help prevent nighttime falls, or place it near exits to warn of potential wandering. The system is backed by a one-year manufacturer warranty and comes from Smart Caregiver, an American firm with three decades of experience supporting caregivers and improving safety for older adults.

Exactly what we needed for night monitoring
This alerts me every time my wife gets out of bed so I can assist her. It performs better than I expected and gives real peace of mind.

Great value and very effective
Performs well and is a good size. The chime is loud, which is what you want for caregivers who sleep heavily.

Best buy for my dad with dementia
I use it bedside and under his lounge chair. The pager’s vibration or loud chime notifies me when he tries to get up, and it has prevented several dangerous moments. Cannot recommend it enough.

Useful tool for caregivers
Very helpful device; the alert tone is clear and loud. A pager LED that lights with the alarm would be a handy addition.

Works well for dementia care
So far it functions just as described. A great option to keep a watchful eye on loved ones with dementia.

Dependable, but some battery and volume drawbacks
After months of use it still alerts reliably and the range is excellent across a large house. My gripes: the alarm is very loud, there’s no low-battery indicator on the pager or mat, and neither unit is rechargeable. I only changed the pager battery once in six months out of caution.
