TSM005 Mini UFO Drone Hover Ball — Gesture-Controlled Kids Drone (Blue)
Product description
Child-safe construction and enclosure: Built from lightweight, impact-resistant materials and surrounded by a full 360° mesh guard, this mini UFO drone keeps spinning blades out of reach and cushions bumps into furniture. The design is intended for indoor use by children aged 6 and older; kids with long hair should keep it tied up before playing.
What’s in the box and size: The package includes the hover ball and a USB charging cable. The orb measures approximately 3.74 inches in diameter, small enough to carry in a backpack for travel or short outings.
Gesture and toss-to-fly controls: Power on, give the drone a gentle toss to initialize flight, then guide it with simple hand motions. A built-in motion sensor interprets gestures for climbing, descending, moving forward and back, and can trigger 360° flips. To stop the unit instantly, grab it or turn it over to cut power.
Lighting and visual effects: Twelve integrated LEDs create an ever-changing sequence of colors, producing a vivid trail and “neon meteor” look while the drone is airborne — great for evening play or small parties.
Recharge and runtime: The rechargeable battery refuels via the included USB cable from a power bank or computer in about 35 minutes. LED indicators show charging status. Expect short, intermittent flight sessions typical for a toy of this size.
Developmental and family play value: Beyond entertainment, the hover ball helps youngsters improve hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. Its simple controls encourage kids to reduce screen time and play cooperatively — parents can join in for games like catching challenges or gesture races to foster interaction and creativity.

Quick and correct
Fast delivery and exactly what I ordered — worked as expected.

Favorite toy instantly
My three-year-old took to it right away and wouldn’t put it down — an immediate hit.

Not as capable as other models
This one didn’t reach the heights or endurance of other hover toys we’ve tried. It drops quickly if it knocks into a wall or ceiling and didn’t stay aloft long.

Pretty toy, poor longevity
Everyone enjoyed it for a couple of days, but then it stopped working. Fun while it lasted, but short-lived.

Started fine, then became unreliable
Worked well at first but now it sometimes launches off in odd directions and climbs too high. It stopped reacting to hand gestures, charges poorly and won’t hold a charge. Also smaller than expected and prone to getting stuck up trees.

Hits the fun mark — great for group play
I bought several for different ages and we all had a blast through multiple charges. The battery life is on the short side but the toy is very light and survives crashes — even drops from high spots left it unscathed. My grandson preferred this over an older orb toy; good gift for family play.

Short-lived but loved
It didn’t last long — broke after a couple of weeks — but my grandson enjoyed it while it worked.

Quirky but entertaining for kids
It’s not the smartest gadget and often fumbles at the ceiling, but my children love it. Speed is manageable for a six-year-old, battery life is decent for the size, and it’s held up after repeated falls.
