Telescoping Ladder with Hooks — 12.5 ft Aluminum, 330 lb Capacity
Product description
This aluminum telescoping ladder has been tested to ANSI A14.2-2017 standards and is rated for a maximum working load of 330 lb, which includes user weight plus tools and materials. Each rung section uses an auto-locking mechanism; users should verify every lock is engaged before climbing.
The ladder pulls up section-by-section to achieve a maximum extended height of 12.5 ft. When fully collapsed it measures about 3 ft, making it straightforward to stow in a closet, garage corner, or vehicle cargo area (verify clearance before transporting). It is intended for tasks such as gutter work, exterior painting, window cleaning, and general home maintenance.
Two removable hooks are supplied; they rotate 360 degrees to seat against compatible anchor points per the included guidance. Structural reinforcement is provided by a triangular bracing pattern, a bottom stabilizer bar, and slip-resistant feet to enhance footing when the ladder is properly set up.
The design is collapsible and comes with a securing strap to hold the sections together during transport and keeping. Its compact footprint makes it suitable for RV access, gardening, light warehouse tasks, attic entry, and other indoor or outdoor jobs where reach is needed without taking up much room when not in use.

VerdictThis telescoping ladder is a practical pick for homeowners and light tradespeople who need reach without a bulky footprint. The unit compresses to about 3 ft for compact keeping and extends section-by-section to 12.5 ft for gutters, painting, or attic access. Users rep

Compact and robust
Compact design and very robust in use.

Fits in my vehicle and feels stable
Retracted it fits in the cargo area of my car without folding seats. Stability is good and the hooks add reassurance. The shortest top rungs are thin, so I avoid extending completely; instead I raise the top sections together and rely on the thicker lower rungs. The release buttons can pop off if laid on their side but snap back on easily.

Too many individual latches; uneasy feeling
I bought this for occasional tasks and it meets that need, but the number of latches makes me nervous: a single latch failure could be serious. It feels a bit wobbly compared with sturdier options, so in hindsight I might have chosen a heavier-duty model.

Quality and safety concerns
Delivery was slow and some hardware was missing for the stabilizer. I noticed dents and a small exposed area near the base suggesting metal fatigue. Several latches didn’t auto-lock reliably, and the ladder flexes and twists at full height, causing latches to sometimes release. I taped some latches as a temporary fix, but I consider this a risky product.

Heavy and sturdy; wider rung spacing
Very solid and substantial. The rung spacing is wider than many ladders—about 6–12 inches more—so shorter users or those with knee issues should take that into account. It’s heavy and can pinch fingers when closing, but it reaches high and fits my space constraints, making it excellent value for achieving extended height.

Compact, solid, easy to tuck away
Works well for typical household chores like swapping bulbs, cleaning windows, and minor repairs. Takes up little room when collapsed and feels steady on level ground thanks to the stabilizer. It’s heavier than I expected, which actually adds confidence, but be cautious when collapsing — finger pinches are possible. Overall a practical, compact ladder for regular home use.

Inspect every latch; small sag toward the wall
Seller support was responsive and a replacement fixed my initial issue. The ladder bows slightly toward the wall so it seats snugly, which I like. I’m a contractor with two decades’ experience and find it less bouncy than long extension ladders, though it does sag a bit and should be used on level ground. Always confirm each step latch is fully engaged.

Does the job it’s meant for
Well built for lighter work like accessing a skylight. Locks snap into place audibly and feel secure. Collapsing takes two hands and some control to avoid a sudden drop — the supplied gloves make sense. Installation of the hooks and stabilizer was straightforward. Won’t replace a 26 ft or A-frame ladder, but excellent for constrained spaces.

Compresses and extends smoothly
Collapses and extends without trouble. It’s surprisingly light for how compact and tall it becomes. Would recommend.

Sturdy and easy to move
Very sturdy design and feels secure even fully extended. The hooks and stabilizer add confidence and the ladder’s portability is excellent — I can easily keep it in a vehicle or garage.
