Stands wear out if moved often
If you frequently reposition them or have rocky soil, the stakes can fail. Leave them planted or consider a harderier base if you move them a lot.

Too much smoke
These produce a lot of smoke even at low wick settings. From close range they become unpleasant, so placement far away defeats the purpose.

Missing parts at first, excellent support
Initially some pole sections were missing, so I could not use two torches. Customer service contacted me and resolved it by sending replacement torches, going beyond my expectations. The torches themselves are solid and the 3-prong bases keep them upright.

Simple to set up
Quick to assemble and they look great. The three-prong base is more secure than the usual two-prong types. Poles are slim but feel adequate. I appreciate that the fuel reservoirs lift out for easier filling.

Sturdy, attractive, and versatile
These torches surprised me — very stable thanks to the three-prong stake and the segmented pole lets me pick three different heights. The metal finish looks elegant on my patio and the wide refill opening makes topping up easy. Overall very pleased with the design and stability.
