Best sleep upgrade — makes a thoughtful gift
I give these as presents because they’re a simple, useful luxury that really saves on heating. The two-zone models are especially appreciated. We preheat ours an hour before bed at medium, then drop to low or off overnight. It consistently helps us sleep better.

Very toasty but buttons are noisy
This keeps the bed warm when it’s cold. My only gripe is the audible click of the push buttons — I’d prefer a quieter dial. I liked it enough to buy another for my son and daughter-in-law.

Does the job, but can be uneven
The pad heats the bed overall, but I noticed the top and bottom edges don’t always sit flush and the sides don’t get as warm. I need to keep it around a 4 or 5 to feel steady warmth. It still serves its purpose, so I kept it.

Great quality and stays put — ideal for cold feet
This pad solved my freezing feet at night. The elastic band tucks under the whole mattress and holds firmly. I turn it on a few minutes before bed and use the timer for overnight warmth. My toes stay cozy without overheating the rest of me.

Warm feet without overheating
I dread getting into a cold bed but hate being too hot. This pad warms my toes while leaving the rest of me comfortable. My husband usually sleeps hot and likes it too. It slipped under our mattress protector and sheets without adding bulk. On our king it stays put thanks to the long elastic skirt and I can’t feel the wiring. The cord is long and the plug sits on the left side.

Heats fast — excellent sleep aid
This pad warms up very quickly; I set it to max while getting ready and it was ready by bedtime. I then drop it down to the lowest setting for sleeping. The controls cycle through settings smoothly and it remembers the last heat level. It warms up to the shoulder area but not the pillow zone, which I like. It’s waterproof, machine washable and fits a queen perfectly.

Solid construction; missing a one-touch preheat
I needed a Twin XL and this worked well. I do miss a one-touch preheat but a quick trick is to set it to 9 for a few minutes, then lower it for sleep. The control numbers can look cramped on the display at first, which caused some confusion, but the pad’s heating elements reach all the way to the foot of the bed and the fit was generous.

Stopped working
The unit failed and would not operate properly.

Needed a learning curve, now I love it
I used this for about a month and had to figure out the setup. Instructions recommend putting the pad on the mattress, then another thin layer, then the fitted sheet. The control cables exit at the head of the bed rather than the top surface, which I like. Twin XL has one controller; queen and king have two. The controls handle temperature and a timer (1–9 hours plus a 12-hour option) and the unit remembers prior settings.
