Pure Badger Shaving Brush — Handmade Luxury Men's Brush
Product description
This brush is built around a dense knot of pure badger hair that is individually shaped and secured into an elegantly turned wooden handle. The natural fibers trap and hold warm water, helping you build thicker, warmer lather faster than boar bristles, while the soft tips are gentle on facial skin.
Each head is hand-assembled and firmly set into a lathe-turned handle finished with a decorative ring at the base of the knot. The construction is intended to give a balanced feel in the hand — substantial enough to feel solid but comfortable during long lathering strokes.
Designed for both shaving soaps and creams, it works equally well with scuttles, bowls, and face lathering. It’s compatible with modern safety razors and traditional straight razors, providing reliable pre-shave lift and a creamy cushion for a close shave.
To reduce shedding and odor, every brush is deep-cleaned and sterilized before packing so it arrives fresh. With basic care — rinsing, gentle shaking, and air-drying — the brush is made to remain usable for years rather than months.

Excellent softness and low shedding
Softens nicely when soaked and makes a rich lather. Very little shedding after a few uses.

Outstanding brush
I’ve owned many brushes over the years and this one stands out. No hairs have shed so far. The badger fibers are dense and create a superb lather with just the right firmness — not too floppy, not overly stiff. Highly recommended.

Cautiously optimistic, then impressed
I ordered after seeing a promotional refund offer and was skeptical, but the refund came quickly. Delivery was faster than expected. First use with a traditional soap and scuttle produced a good lather; the knot is fairly tall so it offers lots of spread but less backbone. The handle is well finished with a neat metal ring and a pleasing weight. Minor cosmetic print flaw on the handle but doesn’t affect performance.

Solid quality and pleasant feel
Good lathering performance and soft on the face. It feels well-balanced in the hand. Expect a faint natural ‘wet hair’ smell for the first few uses—this faded for me after several shaves. The only nitpick is that the bristles seemed a touch long compared with brushes I’ve used before.

Beautiful, but I returned it
The brush looked excellent in photos and in hand; the pure badger bristles are soft and attractive. I ended up returning it because I already had a bundled brush arriving and wanted to limit my initial spending on straight-razor gear. If performance matched the looks, it would have been fantastic.
