42" Heavy-Duty Teak Shower Bench — Patented, Pre-Oiled, Non-Slip
Product description
Patented teak design: Every component of this bench — the seat, built-in legs, and structural frame — follows a unique, protected design (U.S. patent No. US D1110050S) with further protections pending. It is manufactured by a specialist teak bathroom furniture maker and is engineered and tested for durable, long-term use; unauthorized replicas are subject to legal action.
Pre-finished with care: The bench ships ready to use, having been treated with three factory coats of premium European water-based teak oil. This finish is low-odor, eco-friendlier than solvent paints, and preserves the natural, oily character of the wood so no immediate refinishing is required.
Non-slip leveling system: There are eight Japan-made non-marking leveling feet — two on each leg — that grip wet surfaces without scuffing tile. The dual-foot layout yields exceptional stability, even when placed over drains, textured floors, or slightly sloped shower pans.
Material and hardware: Constructed from marine-grade Javanese teak harvested from managed plantations, the wood retains natural oils for dimensional stability and a warm, tactile surface that’s gentler than cold tile or plastic. All metal fastenings are marine-grade stainless steel to resist rust and prevent yellow staining on floors.
Structure and capacity: The bench features mortise-and-tenon leg joinery and robust slatting, designed to comfortably support up to 350 pounds. A lower shelf provides handy storage for bath items or footwear, and the 42-inch length offers roomy seating.
Tool-free-ready assembly: Assembly is straightforward — attach four main parts with the supplied wrench and follow clear instructions. Most users can complete setup in about ten minutes without specialized tools.
Aftercare and support: Minimal maintenance is required beyond periodic oiling to refresh the finish. The manufacturer stands behind the craftsmanship with a five-year commitment and U.S.-based customer support for questions or replacement parts.

Solid and stable — great leveling feet
Very sturdy and reliable. It makes minor teak creaks but stays rock-solid. The adjustable leveling pads are brilliant for my sloped walk-in shower and the finish has held up fine.

Handy shoe bench for humid climates
We use it outdoors to remove shoes in Hawaii and it resists humidity well. Top and shelf slats are a bit thin but seem durable. Assembly was easy and the finish looks clean, though the teak is a lighter source than Bali.
