10 lb Dried Mealworms — High-Protein Non-GMO Treat for Birds & Pets
Product description
The information below is per-pack only.
Each pack contains 10 POUND of dried mealworms intended as a supplemental food and treat. These mealworms are all-natural, non-GMO and processed for stable shelf life. Nutritional highlights include high protein, appreciable fiber and healthy crude fats along with amino acids that support growth and maintenance.
Designed to be a flexible feeder item, these dried mealworms can be offered straight from a dish or feeder, mixed into regular feed, used as training rewards, or scattered for foraging enrichment. Suitable for chickens, many wild birds (including bluebirds and titmice), reptiles, amphibians and aquarium species that accept dried insect fare.
The product is easy to digest to promote efficient nutrient uptake. Store in a cool, dry place and reseal after opening to preserve freshness. Each 10 lb pack is sized for repeated use over weeks to months depending on the number of animals you feed and feeding frequency.

Attracts both bluebirds and starlings
Bought to draw more bluebirds and it worked, but starlings also emptied the feeders quickly. Product quality and packaging are good; just be prepared for other visitors.

A welcome variety for wild birds
We fed wild birds mealworms for years and tried this mix for the price and included fly larvae. Many species enjoy it; Carolina Wrens seem a bit shy, possibly pushed off by larger birds. Overall very popular with our flock.

Bulk, affordable supply
A cost-effective way to buy mealworms in quantity. They arrive whole and clean; my birds devour them. The sturdy bag seals well and keeps the worms fresh.

Packaging could be better
Product itself is fine, but the box had weak spots and a few worms leaked out. Would prefer more protective packing for transit.

Perfect size for bluebirds
I get these for my bluebirds; they prefer the smaller worms. A 10 lb bag lasts a long time and is worth the purchase.

Good quality, fair price
Birds eat it readily. Reasonably priced and good quality with quick delivery. Carolina Wrens return for more, though starlings can dominate at times.
