Ultimate Support IQ-X-3000 — Heavy-Duty Double-Braced X Keyboard Stand
Product description
What you get: the double-braced X-style stand itself, memory-lock collars, rubber stabilizing end caps, basic assembly hardware and an instruction sheet.
Construction and materials: built from heavy-gauge steel tubing with a durable powder-coat finish, the stand uses thick-wall legs and reinforced junctions to resist flexing under the weight of large stage pianos. Rubber end caps protect surfaces and help maintain grip on uneven stages.
Fit and sizing: the cradle and arms are designed to accommodate common keyboard widths from compact 61-key units up through full-size 88-key stage pianos. Height and width are adjustable via quick-to-set collars and bolts, and the offset bracing gives extra knee room when sitting at the keyboard.
How it’s used: unfold the X-frame, set the desired height with the memory locking collars for repeatable setups, position the keyboard on the cradle arms, and engage the end caps for surface traction. Its double-braced layout is intended for frequent gigging or studio configurations where stability under heavier loads is important.
Pros
- Very stable under heavy keyboards
- Memory locks for repeatable setup
- Offset bracing provides extra knee space
Cons
- Heavier and bulkier to transport
- Assembly can require minor fitting or tools
- Top arms may need alignment adjustments
VerdictThe IQ-X-3000 delivers dependable stability for heavier stage pianos and pro keyboards. Its robust steel frame and double-braced X design resist wobble under load, while memory locks let you return to a favored height quickly. Expect a solid, somewhat bulky unit that may require a little patience during assembly but rewards you with a secure platform for serious instruments.

No wobble at all
It truly lives up to 'heavy-duty'—in a good way. My old stand shook under a ~50 lb keyboard; this one stays rock-solid even when I play hard. Highly recommended for heavy setups.

Very reliable, slightly oversized
Great build quality and extremely steady—maybe a bit large for my Roland FP-90X, but it holds it securely. It looks bulky beside the keyboard, but worth it for protection.

Needed a tweak, now it's fine
Solid stand overall, although we had to disassemble and refit some parts because the labels didn't match attachment points. After reassembly it works perfectly and we're satisfied.

Five stars for strength, with caveats
Stout, thick-wall tubing and a superior X design make this far more stable than cheaper alternatives. Good long-term value if you buy once. Assembly was fiddly—clearance holes were tight and needed minor drilling. Also the top support arms weren't identical, so one side sits slightly forward unless adjusted.
