Foldable Tablet Holder for DJI RC-N Series Controllers — Metal Mount for 7–12" Tablets
Product description
No-disassembly setup: The holder is built to stay attached to RC-N1, RC-N2 and RC-N3 remotes and can be folded down while still mounted, so you don’t have to detach it every time you pack the controller.
Robust construction: The bracket is made from metal rather than plastic and secures to the rear of the control sticks with two screws for a tight fit. The reinforced clamp can hold larger tablets firmly and reduces the risk of slippage compared with lighter plastic mounts.
Compatibility and fit: The clamp accommodates most tablets with widths between 11 cm and 19 cm — roughly 7 to 12 inches — so it works with many iPad Mini, standard iPad, iPad Air, 11" iPad Pro models and a wide range of Android tablets. The mount is designed to accept tablets with their cases on. Note: 12.9" iPad Pro models are not supported.
Viewing and use: The bracket provides an angled, slightly tilted viewing position that helps cut down on sun glare and reflections for outdoor flying sessions. It is tightened via two screws and is adjustable to fit your tablet size.
What’s in the box: 1 tablet holder for DJI Mini/Pro remotes, 1 screwdriver, 1 USB-C to USB-C data cable (approx. 11.8"), 1 USB-C to Lightning data cable (approx. 11.8"), 1 remote lanyard compatible with RC-N1/RC-N2/RC-N3, plus spare screws. Important: plug the USB-C connector marked for data transmission into the controller for a working data link.
Pros
- Durable all-metal build
- Folds on controller—no removal needed
- Includes cables, screwdriver and lanyard
Cons
- Not compatible with 12.9" iPad Pro
- Some tablets have USB port clearance issues
- Occasional defective data cable reported
VerdictThis aluminum tablet mount gives DJI RC-N remotes the ability to host larger tablets without disassembly. It clamps securely with dual screws, supports most 7–12" tablets (11–19 cm width), and folds away while attached. Good value if you want a rugged, ready-to-use solution, though watch port clearance on some tablet layouts and inspect the included cable before first use.

Perfect for my Samsung Z Fold 7
Exactly what I needed to use my Z Fold 7 with the controller. Solid and highly recommended.

Useful extender but watch port placement
Fits well and makes quick mounting/removal easy. If your tablet’s USB port sits on the long side, connecting may be awkward—I used a 90° adapter.

Needed a small trim to fit my Skyrover X1 extender
My Skyrover X1 has a small ledge on the extendable arm so the bracket didn’t sit flat. I flattened that edge and the holder then fit flush and works fine.

Fast delivery and easy to mount
Quick arrival and simple to attach to the controller. I tested it with a 12.1" RedmiPad Pro and it worked without issue; handy that removal isn’t required to store the remote.

Not a perfect fit but workable
A bit clunky at first, but with some adjustment it held my inexpensive tablet. It ended up serving my needs despite the rough fit.

Cheap way to use a bigger tablet with the DJI RC-N2
Let me swap my phone for a tablet easily. Assembly was quick, it folds away while attached, and the longer USB-C/Lightning cords plus lanyard are genuinely useful.

Defective data cable and slow seller response
The mount itself is fine but one of the included data cables was dead. I couldn’t get a replacement from the seller after reaching out.

High quality, very solid
All-metal construction feels premium. Folds away neatly and the extra-length cables plus neck strap make handling a heavy tablet safer.

Solid aluminum bracket that holds an 8" tablet
Surprised at the build — actual aluminum. Clamped my 8-inch tablet to the controller securely and I can leave the mount on when I stow the remote.
