Nerf Rebel Ops Deadeye Tactical Foam-Dart Blaster
Product description
Overview:
The Nerf Rebel Ops Deadeye is a modular foam-dart blaster designed for versatile, tactical-style play. The kit includes the Deadeye blaster itself plus two multi-function attachments — a shieldstock and a scope-barrel — and 24 official Nerf Elite foam darts. Recommended for ages 8 and up, the blaster is made from molded plastic with soft foam darts for safe play.
Attachments and Modes:
The two included accessories can be combined to form three distinct configurations to support Distance, Damage, or Defense roles. The shieldstock doubles as a stabilizing buttstock for improved aiming and a handheld dart-deflecting shield for close engagements. The scope-barrel can be mounted as a visual targeting scope or swapped to function as a barrel extension for a different feel and look.
Firing and Capacity:
This model uses a pump-action prime and a rotating 8-dart cylinder for mechanical, battery-free operation. The cylinder holds eight darts for sequential firing, while extra darts can be kept on the stock for faster reloads during matches. The rotating drum gives a tactile, reliable-feeling firing cycle when functioning correctly.
Included Accessories and Safety:
The package ships with 24 Nerf Elite foam darts (some preloaded in the drum and the remainder stored on the stock). No batteries are required to operate the pump-action mechanism. Eye protection is advised during play and is sold separately. The blaster’s scale and ergonomics make it better suited to older children and teens than very young players.
Play and Maintenance:
As a hands-on toy, the Deadeye encourages customization of loadout and role-based play. The plastic shell is lightweight for carrying during outdoor or indoor skirmishes. Regular clearing of darts and basic maintenance of the cylinder and barrel will help preserve reliable performance over time.

Nostalgic upgrade with a few quirks
I grew up with Nerf and appreciate how advanced these blasters are now. The build feels sturdy, attachments snap on easily, and the bright finish is good for outdoor play. It's a bit large for small kids — better suited to older children and teens. The scope is purely cosmetic with no electronics, and while it hasn't jammed for me, I wish the shell holder could be removed like on some revolver-style models.

Cool but unreliable
My 7-year-old called it 'not great but super cool.' After about two weeks it started misfiring; many darts barely launch or get stuck.

Solid, configurable blaster
This is a smart addition to any collection thanks to its modular design. The shieldstock works as both a stabilizer and a defensive plate, while the scope-barrel switches between a sight and a barrel extension. Pump-action priming feels smooth and there's no need for batteries; the rotating eight-dart cylinder keeps the play flowing.
